Tasks
Personnel management
- All correspondence relating to personnel matters on behalf of 26 depots, seven workshops and one bridge maintenance depot
- Drawing up and updating the organisational charts of 26 depots, seven workshops and one bridge maintenance depot
- Keeping a staff list, ratio list, lane kilometre list, age structure list
- Organisation of training courses e.g. road supervisor training courses, additional qualification for road maintenance experts
Organisational management
- Structural and workflow organisation
- Drawing up the organisation handbook including job descriptions for the entire road maintenance service
Cost-performance accounting
- Setting up and updating cost-performance accounting on the basis of planned/actual cost accounting, taking types of costs, cost centres and cost units into account
Legal affairs
- Processing of claims for damages by the road administration against third parties and/or by third parties against the road administration
- Negotiations and/or correspondence with road users, insurance agencies, lawyers, experts and companies
- Preparation of statements and provision of information
- Determination and handling of recourse claims against road administration employees
- Examination and approval of advertisements and special uses including determination of the conditions with which they must comply
- Contribution to the "Damage Catalogue" of the Austrian federal states
Controlling and quality management
- Planning, control and coordination of the road maintenance service on the basis of a contract, ISO certification and cost-performance accounting including reporting
Public relations
- Publication of an in-house staff magazine
- Maintenance of the intranet/internet presence
- Preparation of information material
