Mobile Lung Screening/X-ray Bus

The Styrian Mobile Lung Screening Service (X-ray Bus) is on the road throughout the region, as required by the Tuberculosis Screening Ordinance.
Our digital X-ray system allows us to perform chest X-rays with minimal radiation exposure.
This service is directed at:

  • Persons with an increased risk of contracting tuberculosis,
  • (Tbc risk group screening in refugee and asylum seeker facilities, homeless shelters and prisons, prison officers, prostitutes)
  • Facilities with an increased risk of infection for their clients and staff (hospitals, retirement homes, nursing homes for people with disabilities, mobile home care)
  • Contact tracing in case of contact with tuberculosis patients
  • Persons involved in TB care
  • Public event organisers (for example, of health fairs)
