Communication

The Communication Unit of the State of Styria is in charge of the State of Styria's press and public relations work. Our main tasks include:

• the provision of information to regional and supra-regional media
• the organisation and hosting of press events held by the State of Styria
• providing the media with information on meetings of the Styrian Government
• representing the State of Styria in various media entities
• the coordination of PR and advertising projects
• acting as the administrative support unit ensuring compliance in the use of the State of Styria's corporate design
• the publication of the Styrian media directory
• drawing up strategic PR plans and providing consulting in media matters
• the planning, management, support and coordination of the State of Styria's internet presence
• media training
• media relations and the set-up of media infrastructure at major events and political elections
