You can also contact us by electronic means (e-mail, fax or online form), but please note the technical requirements. Any matters submitted by electronic means outside our office hours will only be received and processed when our office staff resume work again. This means that the submission will be deemed to have been submitted and received only at that time.

Tasks:
Compulsory schools
- Appointment of head teachers (by decision of the State of Styria)
- Relocation of teachers to the Inclusion, Diversity and Special Needs Education Service of the Board of Education
- Release of State teachers from their duties for the central committees of the staff council of the State teachers at compulsory academic and vocational schools
- Appointment of members to the performance assessment committees and disciplinary panels
- Preparation of the staffing plans, controlling and staff accountability
- Promotion of all-day schooling
- Support staff at compulsory academic schools
- Function as the relevant higher authority vis-à-vis the Board of Education
Music schools
- Promotion of music students
- Organisation and implementation of youth music competitions
