The team of the Rural Road Construction Unit

  • manages the urban road network from a technical point of view and provides technical expertise for roads, paths and bridges;
  • implements construction projects together with the local authorities;
  • is in charge of assessing and handling disaster damage to the rural road network and other local authority assets;
  • supports the local authorities in broadband expansion and implements construction projects together with the local authorities and Steirische Breitband- und Dateninfrastrukturgesellschaft (SBIDI).
