Tasks

The Administrative Support Unit for Organisation and Personnel supports the Head of Department in vital organisational issues.

Organisation and Personnel

  • Human resources planning and management
  • Controlling and reporting in the department
  • Maintaining and updating the organisation handbook
  • Drawing up processes and procedures
  • Internal services matters
  • Coordination of training and continuing training activities within the department
  • Intra-departmental coordination of motions tabled in government meetings and parliamentary inquiries
  • Organisational and administrative matters of IT for Department 13 (IT system support, support and maintenance of data servers, internet and intranet)
  • Handling the telephone switchboards of Department 13
  • Procurement and inventory management of office supplies and equipment
  • Office management
  • Business travel and vehicle fleet management
  • Management of the Electronic Filing System ELAK

Budget

The Administrative Support Unit, with its Budget team acts as the budget-managing unit and, as such, is in charge of financial planning, budget preparation and accounting.
