Tasks:
The Road Construction Engineering Unit is in charge of technical matters related to road engineering investigations of state roads.
Road structure
- Recording and assessment of road conditions and road structures in the EMS maintenance management system
State-accredited testing body for road construction materials, road structure engineering and earthworks
- Soil physical tests, soil mechanical tests and soil hydraulic tests
- Examinations of rock and aggregates
- Carrying out asphalt and bitumen analyses
Test reports
- for suitability, verification and acceptance tests in earthworks and asphalt construction
Research
- Participation in ring tests and research projects
- Subsurface examination for the construction of new roads and bridges
- Planning and performance of soil explorations to examine the subsurface
