Tasks
The unit is in charge of the technical supervision of the district administration authorities and the processing of legally relevant issues in the field of child and youth welfare, foster care and child support.
Other tasks include the enforcement of the Styrian Act on Violence Protection Centres and the involvement in cross-country adoption procedures.
